Language Stars Satellite Center -

Language Stars Satellites offer one or two days per week of programs at a child-friendly location. The Crystal Lake Satellite is located at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ located on Woodstock Street at Northwest Highway.

The Language Stars Crystal Lake satellite center offers Spanish and Mandarin Chinese language classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school children. While French, Italian and German programs are not currently offered at our Crystal Lake satellite center, we have begun a waitlist. Please call 866-55-STARS for details. French, Italian and German programs are currently available at our nearby locations.

Open enrollment: Our curriculum is designed with a different theme each week, allowing you to join us anytime! 

We welcome mid-season enrollments and we prorate your tuition to reflect only the remaining number of weeks in the season.

Directions to the Center:

The Crystal Lake Satellite Center is located at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ at 485 W. Woodstock St, about 1 mile west of downtown Crystal Lake. This is 2 blocks south of IL-176, 1½ blocks east of US-14 and 1.5 miles west of IL-31.

From Chicago:
Take I-90 West towards O'Hare. Keep right onto IL-53 North towards the northwest suburbs. Take the exit for US-14/Northwest Highway and head northwest for about 15 miles. Follow US-14 by turning right on West Virginia St./US-14. After 1.5 miles, turn right on West Woodstock Street. St Paul’s United Church of Christ will be on the right. Please enter the first driveway and proceed to the rear parking lot.
